There is no RingMatcher account to close
RingMatcher does not let you create a user account and does not keep a cross-device library under your name or email address. You can use the free Android matching flow without signing in. Optional plans are non-renewing, one-time Google Play purchases, not subscriptions.
Deleting RingMatcher data does not cancel, reverse, or refund a Google Play purchase. Use Google Play's purchase support or refund process separately if that is what you need.
Delete data saved on your Android device
You control the Ringprints and paid-plan copies stored by the app. RingMatcher's Saved screen lets you remove a completed Ringprint or completed plan individually. A purchase still being prepared, pending, or recovered is protected from ordinary removal so the app does not silently destroy the only local recovery information.
To remove all app-controlled data at once, open Android Settings, choose Apps, RingMatcher, then Storage and clear storage; uninstalling RingMatcher also removes its private app storage. Delete any PDFs, images, or text copies you exported to Files, Downloads, another app, or another person separately because those copies are outside RingMatcher's private storage.
Clearing storage or uninstalling can make a consumed one-time purchase and its generated plan impossible to recover. Resolve an unfinished purchase first if you still need the plan.
Saved Ringprints
Open Saved, choose the Ringprint's remove action, and confirm removal from this device.
Completed plans
Open Saved, find the purchased plan, choose Remove, and confirm the local deletion.
Everything in the app
Clear RingMatcher storage in Android Settings or uninstall the app, then remove any exported copies separately.
Ask RingMatcher to delete identifiable server records
Email contact@ringmatcher.com with the subject “RingMatcher data deletion request.” You do not need an account password. To help us locate a record, include the plan name and approximate date and, for a purchase-related request, the Google Play order number shown on your receipt. For an AI-result feedback report, include the approximate submission time and the Ringprint title if available.
Do not email a raw Google Play purchase token, payment-card details, identity documents, or photos. We will acknowledge the request and normally complete deletion of records we can identify and control within 30 days, unless a longer period is required to verify the record, prevent fraud, resolve a dispute, or meet a legal obligation.
What a server-deletion request covers
When we can locate them, a request covers RingMatcher-controlled Google Play purchase drafts, access records, associated hashed or obfuscated identifiers, and AI-result feedback reports. It does not require deletion of a user account because no RingMatcher account exists.
Optional photos are re-encoded and transmitted only when you request visual analysis. RingMatcher does not intentionally save those uploaded image files to an account or image database. OpenRouter, a routed model provider, email infrastructure, hosting infrastructure, and their legal obligations may have their own handling and retention rules described in the privacy policy.
Automatic expiry for Android purchase records
An unclaimed Google Play purchase draft expires after 7 days. After a verified purchase, the server-side tool-access window lasts 30 days for The Shortlist and The Complete Ring Plan, or 90 days for The Couple's Edition.
Expired draft, claim, and access records are removed from the active purchase store during the next purchase-store operation; there is no background deletion timer. You may request earlier deletion using the email process above. Earlier deletion can end recovery or time-limited paid tools and cannot restore a consumed purchase.
Information controlled by others or retained for a limited reason
Google controls Google Play billing records, receipts, refunds, and transaction retention. A request to RingMatcher does not delete Google's copy. Exported files, shared links, messages, or copies held by another person or app must be removed from those destinations separately.
RingMatcher may retain the minimum deletion-request correspondence or transaction evidence needed to document completion, secure the service, prevent fraud, resolve a dispute, or comply with law. Records held in provider backups or security logs are isolated from ordinary use and age out under the relevant provider's retention schedule rather than being restored to the active service.
